A Southern California girl at heart, I moved to DC in 2006, and haven’t looked back since! I have been planning professionally for over 7 years, and I honestly love what I do. My job is great because I am constantly meeting and connecting with fantastic people and really, the people are what make it all worthwhile!
I take pride in my knowledge of what’s hot and new within my surroundings and if I am not scouting the latest venues, trends and companies in the industry, you will find me seeking out the best places to dine and unwind in DC.
My job is to make sure that your contracts are airtight, your budgets, timelines and vendors are properly managed, and that all of the little details that go into making an event successful are accounted for, while our design team handles the creative side of things. It really is a perfect balance!
I was born and raised in New York (among other places) and I have been creating things with my hands as far as I can remember.
I really like to ride bikes and exercise (in my mind) but mostly I eat a ton of sweets (hence the name Sugar) and laugh until my stomach hurts. When you meet us you will know that I am the goofball of the team!
I have experience designing and planning both corporate events and weddings. An artist by trade, I attended the Corcoran College of Art and Design to study Digital Media Design (for a time, hehe.) but I have experience in everything from painting and crafting, to graphic design and sewing. I even dabble in a little wood work. A lot of that gets put into what I do here at Taylor + Hov, but my favorite parts are creating your stationery, and working on a great branding project.
Born and raised in Romania, I am a doer that will go above and beyond to put together an unforgettable event for my clients.
With a degree in hospitality and work experience in both The U.S. as well as multiple countries in Europe, I have the ability to relate to just about any client, and create the perfect customized experience. My calm nature puts clients at ease while my efficiency gives them confidence that everything is being taken care of. I am experienced in managing and coordinating all facets of an event including design, planning and production, and will pay attention to every detail to make sure everything is flawless.
My experience in both, corporate and social, makes me an asset to your event and The Taylor and Hov Team!
Overachiever, Overtly feminine, OverANNAlytical—A young, motivated, career-driven woman with her head to the sky; headed to the top. I always try to infuse my clients’ style and personality into all events I plan. Working diligently for the past five years as a structured planner and hospitality professional in the Washington, DC area, and I have the whole hearted desire to make a personal and memorable connection with each and every client. To date I have planned over a 100 successful social, professional, community service and fund-raising events for numerous organizations.
Growing up in Chicago, I have a love for food and adventure. My television never leaves the Food Network and I LOVE discovering new recipes. I spend my days working on long to-do lists and browsing the latest nail trends. Ever since daily deal aggregator like Gilt Group and Rue La La, I can’t stay away from the latest deal.
I was born and raised in the Washington DC Metropolitan area–Northern Virginia to be exact! I love traveling to exotic and fun destinations with family and friends. Get me to a beautiful beach on a nice sunny day and I just may never leave!
After graduating from Hampton University, it was then that I decided that wedding and event planning would be my life. From planning small vacations with family and friends to assisting in planning large local fundraising events, I have finally found my niche! I have always been a ‘social butterfly’ and an avid networker. For me, the most rewarding part of this industry is seeing the smiles on satisfied clients’ faces. There’s nothing like knowing I have made a difference in the lives of someone who needed me most!
I have a heart for people and a passion for helping others. This shows in everything that I do and I am VERY proud to continue my journey at Taylor + Hov!
I started with Taylor and Hov as a client when they were planning my wedding, and quickly decided I needed to be a part of the creative team! I am a quirky, fun and never shy Washingtonian Native. I graduated with a bachelors in Fine Arts, with a Major in Interior design and Graphic Design, most likely because I come from a family of artists. I like to say that I got my talents from my mother, who has been a successful architect in the DC/PA area for almost 35 years! I have practiced as a commercial interior designer in the DC area for 6 years. On the personal side, I have love for dogs, unique clothing and anything fashion! One of my favorite things to do is travel and see the world 🙂
